Gas Price around the world

As we all know, and feel, gas prices are the highest they have ever been. No matter where you live, which country, you'll be paying through the nose just to be able to take a spin on your motorcycle.
But, it's not really everywhere in the world! At motorcycle blog site (MBI member Open link in a new window), they produced a table of the gallon price around the world.
The USA is in the middle of the price range, with Venezuela charging 4% what Americans must pay, while on the other side of the spectrum is Denmark, charging 279% more!

In France, according to the table, we're paying 240% more than the US.

So stop complaining about your gas price...if not, move to Venezuela or Iran....

What would you pay for a gallon of gas around the world? As you can see below, the price ranges from almost triple the US average across most of Northern Europe (due to fossil-fuel taxes and emerging carbon-cap regulation) to small fractions of the US average in many heavy-production countries (due to government subsidies for its citizens).

* All prices from November 2007, except Mexico and Venezuela in August 2007 *
