WESTERN NEPAL TOUR

Brotherhood BikerZ taking u Western Nepal
Western NEPAL Tour

Every time we set out on our bikes to the capital its likely we get stuck on some traffic confusions.Traffic Jam is normal in the capital and this is not what every biker likes. We all want to unleash our bikes freely and the only place that makes it possible is the out of valley highways in our country. Even we here at Brotherhood BikerZ too have been waiting to set our bikes free in the highways. So the bikes has been set, the riders are all geared up and the destinations has been decided. We have chosen Western Nepal as the right place. Its our first long tour and we plan to make it real good. We are setting out on three bikes (Karizma, Pulsar & Roadwin) with three bikers taming their machine. The destinations as planned is to be Chitwan, Palpa, Lumbini, Pokhara & Bandipur and the duration of stay is likely to be for a week. Sad thing is our other four bikers could not join us due to the rejection of this proposal by their parents. But two have planned to join us in Pokhara by flight. Well my only message to them is you only get better views from your bikes rather than in the air through the small aircraft windows. Even people knowing about our journey tell us the situation is not right in the nation and the rainy season is not going to be favorable. But our only reply to them is,'Every thing's already planned and there's nothing stopping the adrenaline rush in our bloods'. Well we won't be biking for gaining top speeds but plan to be on the safer side by just taking the adventure of long tours. So may the good God bless us and our bikes and thanks to our parents for being co-operative with us. Waiting to be back to merobike.com in a week ............Hope everything runs according to the plan.............

We leave the capital at 7.00 am from THANKOT and set out on our journey. And as expected the rain god kept welcoming us with his frequent showers. Our destination for Day 1 was scheduled for Lumbini. No trouble or accidents in the way except for a tyre puncture but managed to get a repair shop not very far.The sad thing about the journey was that it just kept on raining throughout but luckily we didn't skid on our bikes anywhere. We took breaks at Malekhu, Narayanghat and Butwal and reached Lumbini at 4.12 pm. It didn't rain here but the temperature is damn hot here........But the roads are just too good out here.Wish Kathmandu had the same roads back there.......Anyways even if we had its likely there will be a traffic jam there too.....Life on a bike is just too good and free out here.....Maybe even u guys should bring out yr bikes in the highways out here sometime. In short Day 1 was just too good though we disliked the raining part............

We leave Lumbini at 5 a.m. because its unbearably hot out here. Now we have reached Palpa. Palpa is a hill station located about 80 km away from Lumbini. The weather out here is contrary to Lumbini because its cool out here unlike the hot weather in Lumbini. Luckily no rain today. No highways here on the way to Palpa. But the road was good and lots of turnings. Had quality time cornering. We reached here in about 2 hours. Its a nice place here and very beautiful sceneries on the way. If u r tired from the hot weather there in the capital then maybe its not a bad idea getting here to Palpa. But its a little boring here inside the city here in Palpa apart from the splendid sceneries and cool weather. Well,I think Palpa is an ideal place just for a days stay. So we stay here for a day and set out for Pokhara tomorrow.

We left Palpa at seven in the morning and throttled towards our final destination Pokhara. Pokhara was 125km away from here and the road included mostly turnings with hardly any straight roads. We raced towards Pokhara at an average speed of 55km/hr and reached our destination in 3 hours time.On reaching the entry point of Pokhara we headed towards the road to Baglung and took a rest at the Seti river. We didn't go to Baglung but rested at the Seti river banks and had our bikes washed there. Then we rode around the road to Baglung and headed towards Pokhara by six in the evening.

We reached Pokhara at the evening of Day 3 and went directly to sleep after getting a hotel since we were tired. So visited places in Pokhara on Day 4 & 5.We stayed by the lakeside in Hotel Fewa and went to almost every place in Pokhara.Pokhara was fun but just too expensive. lol. In fact much more expensive than our Thamel. We went to Devi's Fall, Mahendra Gufa, Sarangkot, Begnas Taal and Fewa Taal as a part of our sight seeing trip.Well apart from sight seeing we visited some happening places in Pokhara too. For Breakfast we went to Dafna Hot Sandwich Corner & Restaurant at Lakeside and I tasted the best sandwich of my life here.Lunch and Dinners included places like Cafe De Garden in New Road, Nerula's in Lakeside and Maili Didi ko Restaurant in Lakeside....Btw Nerula's was the worst place to eat for us in Pokhara..The food was only expensive and lacked taste and quality.....So if u guys are in Pokhara never go and eat out at Nerula's.....It sucks....Apart from all these Club Amsterdam was the best part of our Pokhara trip.....We went there both nights and had a better and very good time at the last day......We took in a lot of cocktails and beers there and everybody got drunk....In fact we emptied our pockets in Club Amsterdam and drained all our money there in the drinks in Amsterdam.....Actually I only had like 50 bucks left for the return journey..... hehehe...In short Pokhara was just too good...
